Pandebono or pan de bono is a type of Colombian bread made of corn flour, cassava starch, cheese, eggs and guava known as bocadillo. Traditionally the Pandebono, it is consumed while still warm with hot chocolate a few minutes after baking. It is very popular in the Colombian department of Valle del Cauca.
Buñuelos are a traditional Colombian Christmas treat, but they are also popular year round for breakfast with hot chocolate or coffee. The dough is often made with milk, baking powder, egg, flour, cassava, or grated corn that has been squeezed through a cheesecloth. They are often filled with cheese.
